Rev. William C. “Will” Haggis II is from the Tuscarawas Valley of eastern Ohio.  He was called to St. Mark’s and the Van Wert community in 2005.  
Will and his family reside in Van Wert.

Pastor Will comes from a long family lineage of pastors in this country dating back to the mid 1600’s.  Some include a circuit rider preacher in the pioneer settlement of Ohio, a chaplain in the Marines and his father (who is retired?).  Will’s education includes Wittenberg University, Christ’s and Notre Dame College and Saint Katherine’s College of Liverpool, England, Trinity Lutheran Seminary and life experience as a Christ follower.

Pastor Will’s hobbies include camping, travel, playing trumpet and guitar, exercise, reading, contemporary and traditional Christian music, bowling, golf, tennis and karate. However, the occasional deer and turkey hunting and fishing excursions are met with limited success!

Pastor Will serves on the Van Wert County Board of MRDD,  the Van Wert County Board of the YMCA, the Lutheran Home Society Housing Committee and the Van Wert County Ministerial Association.
